We will have a "whole school" programme in the sixth grade next fall. We will still offer high school credit World Language and extended math for those who are ready to take the classes. The programme will remain the same in grade 7 and 8. Fred Lynn is beginning an IB programme, therefore we can longer accept new Fred Lynn students. We welcome Saunders students to join Beville's programme next year.

Kerrydale Reading Pals ProgramWe are excited to work once again with Kerrydale Elementary School to help with their Kerrydale Reading Pals Program. The Reading Pals Program pairs middle school students with elementary students who need additional exposure to the skills of reading. Students who are interested in participating in the program and earning community and service hours are welcome to pick up a permission slip and information about the program from Mrs. Johnson in the front office or on the Community and Service Bulletin Board in the cafeteria. If students participate every scheduled day of the after-school program, they will earn over 30 hours of community and service! The program begins November 18. Students must submit permission slips to Mrs. Johnson no later than November 16, 2011.
